Aside from composition, Andre is passionate about guitar performance and being a multi-instrumentalist. Here you will find various music audio and video examples of Andre playing guitar as well as other instruments such as electric bass, piano/keyboards, or singing. Andre is currently an active guitarist in Nashville where he continues to tour often. He has toured with numerous country artists including the Country/Rock group "Tobi Lee & MSB" performing over 250 dates in 6 countries. Notable performances include headlining the Albisgüetli Country Music Festival in Zurich, Switzerland, performing at the 25th Annual Trucker's Festival in Interlaken, Switzerland along with The Bellamy Brothers, Kris Kristofferson, and Carlene Carter, performing at the Country Music Cruise in Ancona, Italy, and performing for over 15,000 people at the Havelock Country Music Jamboree in Ontario, Canada opening for major artists such as Toby Keith. Tobi Lee & MSB recieved the 2018 Josie Award for "Entertainer of the Year in Modern Country" (Band Division) and performed at the award ceremony at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

 In 2010, Andre co-found "Nocturnal Light", a pop/rock/R&B group formed at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. The group released their first full length studio album in August 2013 under Sadetar Records entitled, "Some Day Soon". Andre is the co-songwriter and producer for the group along with frontman vocalist, Justin Lacey. Andre also plays electric/acoustic guitars, keyboards, and electric bass for the album. The album can be purchased on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, CDBaby, and numerous other digital download websites. Nocturnal Light's debut album "Some Day Soon" is an eclectic blend of modern soft rock sounds, impressive riffs, unforgettable hooks, exciting rhythms, and smooth vocal harmonies. The album features Justin Lacey on lead/background vocals and piano, Joe Ganzelli on drums, and Andre Madatian on lead guitar, bass, and keyboards. 
During his time at Berklee, Andre has played on countless recording sessions for student projects as well as professional sessions. Andre has studied privately with notable guitarists such as Tomo Fujita, who's former students include John Mayer and Eric Krasno of Soulive and Lettuce. Other notable guitarists whom Andre has studied with include Sal Difusco of the Sal Difusco Project, John Baboian of "The Bebop Guitars" and David Fiuczynski of the Screaming Headless Torsos as well as the guitarist for Jazz Piano prodigee, Hiromi Uehara. He has gigged extensively in the Boston area with several groups ranging in styles from R&B/Soul to Pop/Rock. Andre has performed onboard Carnival Cruise Lines as a showband guitarist and was featured in the award-winning production show entitled, "Epic Rock" presented by Playlist Productions, where he performed a rock and roll guitar solo to open the show. In the summer of 2013, Andre could have been found playing guitar at Cedar Point, the world's largest amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. Andre played country style guitar for the show entitled, "Absolute Country" and it is estimated that the show attracted 75,000 spectators throughout the summer season, making it one of the most popular shows in the park. Andre has also performed along side rock and roll legend and Great Britain Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Charlie Gracie. Gracie is claimed to be one of Paul McCartney's biggest influences and George Harrison describes Gracie's guitar playing as "brilliant". Charlie Gracie quotes, "Andre Madatian is a virtuoso guitarist in time".
